I've recently added some childhood favorites to my book wishlist, so I could read them again.

I reread a lot of my books, which is why I have such a hard time giving them away or selling them back. I can't get rid of the nagging feeling I'll want to go back some day. I find that I devour books so quickly, especially books I love, that I'm so intent on getting to the end I don't enjoy it as much as I should. I definitely love to reread to find things I missed or some new facet to a character I never noticed before.

Hello! I'm here from the book blog hop and am a new follower.

I've been thinking about re-reading a few of the books that I read a while back to see what I think of them now! There were also quite a few books that I read when I was pretty young and didn't understand fully, so I'd like to read those again.

It's been so long since we've seen nice weather I just HAD to take advantage!

I love to re-read Harry Potter, but it's been ages since I've re-read an old favorite otherwise. I think I'll have to give it a try just to enjoy that feeling of cozying up with a good friend.

What's your favorite re-read Jeannie?

How nice to have a day outside! Good for you Jody :)

I do like to re-read my favorites--it's like visiting an old friend you haven't seen in a long time. Actually, I prefer many of the older books to the new ones. Maybe it's familiarity--I don't know but, there aren't many new ones that grab me and leave me feeling 'satisfied' after I've read them.
