As you may have noticed, we’re taking a little break from the WAGB book club this month. September’s always such a busy month, between back to school and new fall TV (which both Rae and I have a healthy love for), so we thought we’d take a little break and come back with some fresh selections in October.
Because we like to hear your thoughts and want our book club to reflect our reader’s tastes, we’re letting YOU decide on our October book club selection!
Please let us know which of the “Can’t put it down books” you’d like to read and discuss next month by voting in our poll. And if you have other books that you think would make good book club selections, be sure to let us know in the comments below because we’ll be making choices for future months as well.

Yay! I’ve been actually wondering where did the book club go, and I am glad to have it back
Kay! So nice to see you. I was a little late on getting the we’re taking a break announcement out, but we’ll be picking back up next month.
I LOVED The Duff (and, of course, Hunger Games) so I’d be psyched to talk more about either one. I voted for The Duff, but would like to read any of these. I felt bad because I got the Patterson book for the last book club and never got around to finishing (or starting) it.
I feel like the last person who hasn’t read the Hunger Games! I can’t wait to read the series. I’ve read great things about The Duff as well though. I actually looked for it in the store the other day, but it wasn’t there.
I hadn’t heard of The Duff until I saw Jody’s poll. Will have to check it out now! (And I kind of mean that literally, headed to the library for another book rec I got recently and will check to see if this book is there too.)
Jo – Do you have Hunger Games? Was that one you had as an e-book and was just waiting for the trilogy to be complete to read? Am I just making stuff up now?
Nope. I haven’t got any of the Hunger Games books yet. But I was waiting for the set to complete before I picked it up. I’ve finally learned to hold out for the boxset!
I just got a coupon for $5 off an online book order, which I was going to use for the set, but then it brings the price down to less that $39 and I loose the free shipping. But chances are I’ll order them anyway!
