Usually June marks the start of the summer reading binge, but a surprisingly boring book caused a HUGE lull in my reading last month. As a result I’m currently 2 books behind on my reading goal for the year.
June Reading List
22. Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler (June 4) *e
A fun summer read that is both a beachy romance and an emotional adventure. While the book didn’t wow me as much as it did some others, it was a thoroughly enjoyable read.
23. Intangible by J. Meyers (June 25) *e – Full Review Here
Normally I’d just set a book aside that was 260 pages and took 3 weeks to read, but I couldn’t find a single negative review about this book, so I assumed it was going to get good. I assumed wrong.
24. Infinity by Sherrilyn Kenyon (June 30)
An enjoyable start to a new YA series (which is also a prequel to Kenyon’s long running Dark Hunter series). While I did enjoy Infinity, I don’t know that I’ll keep going with the series as I found it a bit repetitive (my current personal book pet-peeve) and a little ‘boyish’ for my tastes.
